Monstress is a brand new immersive horror experience from the theatre and R&D departments at Flying V, that reimagines the legacy of the Manananggal, previously contained to folklore. Designed for small-batch audiences, the show will feature an innovative fusion of live and digital performance, some technological wizardry, and atmospheric and sensory immersion! Join us from October 19st-28th and see it with your own eyes!

The short story for the Monstress A/V novel was the product of months of devising work by the Flying V 2022 “Monstress” team.
We’re excited to be able to release the A/V version of this story as a way to honor the work our artists did in 2022 despite having to postpone full-scale theatrical production to 2023, and also as a rad piece of work in its own right that celebrates storytelling, Filipino folklore, and some of the skills of our artists that don’t always take center stage (rimshot).
