Is this thing on?
And by “this thing” I mean, this arts organization?
I think so, yeah.
You know that moment in Mario Kart where you’re pressing the A button and hoping to hit the perfect moment for maximum acceleration from the gate? But like, not holding the button down cause you’ll spin out? That’s where we are. Waiting for Lakitu to ‘ding’ the bell, and in the meantime trying to set ourselves up for success by putting together the best car/moped/bike we can. Making sure we have the right racer. The best paragliding attachment. Adjusting default control settings so our hands don’t cramp up (Curse you, L button!). And figuring out at exactly which moments we hit accelerate.
This metaphor is getting (has totally gotten) away from me, but what I’m trying to say is: watch this space. We can’t wait to share the work we’ve been doing to make Flying V better. Better for artists, arts creation, and the weird, deeply human moments that connect us all. And that’s coming real soon.
