Flying V is delighted to present a shadowcast production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in cooperation with Black Rock Center for the Arts on October 29th.
The production will be helmed by the incomparable Mundy Spears 
The show: The Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast performance.
What is a shadowcast? During a shadowcast performance the classic film is played behind the actors, who perform (usually lip syncing) in front of the movie to the joy, delight and mild scandalization of the audience.
The dates: Performance date is October 29th, at Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD.
Rehearsals will be held once weekly, between September 26th and October 29th.

The YOU!: Performers of all disciplines! Actors, drag kings and queens, burlesquers, sideshow friends! All wild and untamed things! We encourage all gender identities and presentations to audition. Flying V prioritizes the casting of BIPOC & LGBTQ+ performers when possible, but we welcome all to audition.
The auditions: We ask that you be prepared to lip-sync to 30 seconds of a song of your choice. You may bring the song file on a USB drive or add your selection to you this sign up and our producer will reach out ahead of time to confirm.
We will also accept virtual auditions. These must be submitted to info@flyingvtheatre.com not later than noon on September 19th and include a minimum of 30 seconds of lip syncing to the song of your choice. You may also include a vocal sample of your choice, should you so choose.
Auditions will take place at the Silver Spring Black Box, downtown in Silver Spring, MD from 7pm-10:30pm.
No roles are pre-cast.
This production provides a small performance stipend of $200 per performer.
