ALL MARCH EVENTS POSTPONED
It’s with a heavy heart and a lot of sadness that we want to let you know that unfortunately, all Flying V programs and events for March have been postponed. This includes tonight’s Combat Gym “That *IS* A Knife”, “The Best Disney Song Ever” set for Monday 3/16; both performances of “The Infinite Wrench” set for Friday 3/20; and the Neo Futurist’s Workshop, Mike Quackenbush’s Seminar, and Flying V Fights: Pro Wrestling – Fight or Flight 2 set for Sat 3/21. This was not an easy decision to make, but the health and safety of our greater community is the most important factor in making our decision.
The goal with all of these events is to reschedule for future dates – every artist involved is tremendously excited to present or teach this work and we’re looking forward to setting new dates soon. With so much up in the air right now we are going to wait a little bit to responsibly set new dates. If you have purchased tickets for any of these events, we will be in touch in the coming days to provide you with your options, through our ticket provider, Brown Paper Tickets. Please be on the lookout for an email from them. This will include an option for a full refund – thank you for your patience and flexibility as we navigate the logistics and administrative lift of this project. And of course, if you would like to donate the price of your ticket to Flying V in lieu of a refund, that is absolutely possible and appreciated, and details will be explained in that follow-up email from Brown Paper Tickets. As a non-profit, donations are a huge portion of how we stay able to keep creating, especially during periods without the possibility of ticket revenue.
But even though our live events are postponed, we will still have some Flying V goodness for you free in March! Coming very soon we will be debuting our new weekly podcast “Audio Awesome,” featuring content, interviews, and information about everything that goes on in Flying V – from clips from past shows, to previews of upcoming projects! The first episode will feature Round 1 of the super popular “Adult Fan-Fiction World Championships” presented and recorded last month! We hope to have our first episode out before the end of the month. And we have some other VERY big news to share soon too!
